Positive to Negative Converter with LM2674MADJ

LS,

In the past I made a positive to negative converter with the LM2674M ADJ. Therefore I used AN1157.

In that time the device was manufactured by National Semiconductor.

The current boards are produced with I assume TI devices.

The positive to negative converter doesn't start-up correctly.

There is a code on the devices:
NS: CGRE
TI: 37DE

Is there something changed in the converter?

What can be done to start-up the converter correctly?

  • The device has not changed.  What is the purpose of the network on the ON/OFF pin ?

You may try removing that network and testing again.

Also, a ceramic capacitor of about 10uF between pin6 and pin7 is recommended; but I do not think that is the problem.
