SLVA305 (TPS23753) question

Hi,

On page 16 and 17 of SLVA305 app note, figure 5 and 6 show frequency response plots of the feedback loop. Would it be possible to elaborate where the measurement locations are and how to connect to the network analyzer?

Please refer to http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?literatureNumber=slva433&fileType=pdf for more information. While this report used TPS23753EVM-001, the principles of loop measurement apply also to TPS23753EVM-004.

Just want to clarify: At the bottom of page 4 (SLVA433 app note), it states, "As shown in Figure 5, the gain/phase analyzer V1 input should be connected to TP9 and V2 to TP8." Should it be analyzer CH1 (not V1) connects to TP9 and CH2 (not V2) to TP8?

Philip, you are correct. Thanks for pointing that out. The Figure 5 setup illustrates how to measure the power stage gain/phase, while Figure 6 represents the setup for overall phase/gain.
