I need a power supply to deliver a 2.5W pulse to an offboard load. The load is switched for 50mS with a maximum duty cycle of 5%. Typical duty cycle is <1%. I like the isolation, and I don't think output regulation should be an issue.
The duty cycle is low enough where I don't think heat should be an issue. Would the DCP021212 be able to handle this peak current? If not, would this be possible with a fairly large output cap connected?
