Interleaved PFC input Cap

We are working on a 800W interleaved active PFC based on UCC 28070. I am wondering how to dimension the input capacitor, which is directly connected to the dc side of the rectifier bridge. Too large value has a negative impact on the current distortion, but too small values? In the calculation speadsheet, the capacitor is left away completely. On the demo board (HPA225) it is 0.1uF, in the 5KW application it is 1uF.

Any suggestions how to approach this?

regards
