I am trying to find a solution for a DC-DC conversion from a 1000W Brushless DC motor to a capacitor back with a max voltage of 10.8V. Most of the Buck-Boost converters I have seen can't handle this amount of power. If I understand the product right can the LM5118 be used as the the switching regulator as long as I get a MOSFET that can handle about 95A? Or will the 95A damage the LM5118? Do you have any other possible solutions?
