BQ20Z45-R0 installed instead of -R1 - can I use BQEasy and .gg files used for R1 ?

The board house goofed and bought the NRND BQ20Z45-R0 part.  BQEasy for the R1 gives scary warnings every time I talk to the chip.

I already have a .gg file for the product which I created for the R1 last year.  Can I use it for the R0?  Is it backward compatible?  Should I ignore the warnings about "Proceed at your own risk" and live life fully?


Any other suggestions?
