TPS7H1201-HT, Current sense.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7H1201-HT

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding the current sense funstionality of the TPS7H1201-HT  LDO regulator (high temp. version):

At page 20 of the datasheet, there is an equation for calculating "I_cs" (current mirror sense current). In this equation there is a paramenter called "V_offset". Is this a typo??

Should it be "I_offset" instead ? (that would make more sense.....since this is a value added to" I_Load")

In the calculation example text below (page 20 in datasheet)  the "V_offset" parameter is set to 0.1899A. This is a mix of voltage and current, and makes no sense as far as I can understand.....).

And, what is this offset parameter representing?

I can't find any information regarding this in the "Electrical Characteristics" tables of the datasheet.
