PMP7303 and C6672

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6672

Hi there,

I have to supply the VDD core (CVDD) of a TMS320C6672 DSP. My aim is to speed up my design and to avoid steps of simulation and prototyping. I'd like to use the PMP7303 reference design as a start for my design. The PMP7303 provides 2 channels, but only one is necessary for the Smartreflex core supply voltage of the C6672.

Instead of adapting the design with a one channel DC/DC converter (which means I have to restart the design flow: inductor calculation, MOSFETs choice, stability, Cout, Cin, and simulations to validate everything), I'd like to take exactly the PMP7303 design and disable channel 2 by putting 'pin EN2' low with a RPD and letting the pins of channels 2 pins floating.

Here is the schematic of my design, I'd like to have a confirmation that this will work fine.

Regards,

XW
