Dear SIR,

Our board is designed to use bq24616 to supply with system board and Battary.

when the battary is absent，we measure that the waveform of SYS12V power is strange, please reffer to the attachment。

Our SCH reffer to the recommended design in bq24616 datasheet.4382.bq24616 datasheet.pdf

what is the amplitude of the system voltage ringing you are seeing.

Is ACDRV waveform is low or is there any noise on it

Check if ACP and ACN and ACFET mosfet routing. The traces need to be thick. And if there are vias on it, it can be of bigger diameter or have multiple vias.
