Are the I2C signals SDA/SCL powered by the 1.8V LDO on the BQ27621?

I would hate to assume they are powered on 1.8V and then need a voltage translator.

The I²C lines don't require voltage translation. As with all I²C bus systems, you'll need a pull-up resistor on both the SCL and SDA lines, with a 10k resistor being recommended in the datasheet.
