In TI application notes, it is recommended to put series resistor between the UC1825 output and Gate of the MOSFET. Since it dissipates power and makes the turn off slower,
i have modified the gate drive by removing the resistor and replacing it with a schottky diode. and a PNP transistor to discharge the Ciss of MOSFET faster. It improved my efficiency by 2.5%.
I just wanted to know whether this drive will have any adverse effect on the UC1825 or the MOSFET (IRFN240)
