    Hello Satoshi,

    The BQ24040 can be used in many different 1S battery pack configuration charging solutions. This includes a 1S3P application if the charging voltage and current parameters can be matched between the charger and batteries.

    One important thing is to have the batteries at the same voltage when they are configured in parallel so that there is not a rapid charge transfer from disparate voltages.

    I have not found an explicit app note but the solution should be the same described in the datasheet.
