UCC27517A-Q1 Peak current

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC27517A-Q1

I have some question for Peak Current of UCC27517A-Q1.

Q1.

The absolute maximum of the datasheet includes "peak 4A at 0.5us" and a mention. (p3 Absolute maximumu ratings)

Is there any problem in the case of less than 40ns of 7A Peak?

I cannot increase gate resistance. Because switching loss becomes big.

Q2.

There are "+-4A at Cloda=0.22uF, Fsw=1kHz" mention in lsrc/snk of the datasheet.

Does the gate resistance use several Ω then?

 Q3.

Datasheet shows the current as +/-4A typ.

How does device limit the current under 12V Vcc condition?

If internal resistance is 1ohm, I guess output current achieve around 12A at turn on the output. However datasheet shows +/-4A. I don’t know why?
