"-5V" generation using TPS5430DDA

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS5430
Hi,
I' m planning to use the TPS5430DDA in synchronous buck converter mode with 24VDC input voltage to generate "-5V/500mA"output. Is it feasible?.

The design has +5Vdc, -5Vdc, 8Vdc, and GND in the analog and digital circuitry. From the reference documents of the above mentioned IC, the ground pin of the stepdown converter is connected to –VOUT ("-5V") and the positive lead of the output capacitor and IC is connected to ground. In this approach the output switching noise from LC circuit is induced to the GND. Will this impact the GND for rest of the "+ve"supplies. Please let us know the design guidelines for PCB and schematics where we have both "+ve" and "-ve" voltages together.
