I connected the attached circuit to the SS pin of the LM25118 Eval Board.
Now my problem comes when the SS pin is driven close to 0. The output of the Eval Board stays at 0 even after the fault condition (over current through the LT6106) is removed. The voltage on the SS pin floats to 0.6V instead of the 1.3V which it what it was before the fault condition.
I have also observed this problem when I turn the power supplies on out of sequence, if I turn on Vcontrol before V+ the same thing happens.
The easiest way for the Eval Board to recover has been to cycle power on Vcontrol, however for my application I need it to recover on its own.
From the behavior i have observed I going to guess there is a little more going on under the hood of LM25118 then was spelled out in the data sheet concerning the SS. So does anyone know what the issue is and hopefully have to modify the circuit to make allow the Eval Board to recover on its own?
