Hello,
Two questions around the TPS54060:
1. To get a 39 V output from the TPS54060EVM-457, are there any other changes that need to be made besides the resistor divider R6/R7 (as shown in datasheet snippet below) and higher voltage rated caps at C5 and C6?
EDIT: Using WEBENCH, the values for L1 and R3 changed along with R6/R7, so I will find components that match the WEBENCH-recommended values and EVM footprints. Please advise if any other changes should be made to get 39 V output from the EVM.
2. In general when designing the circuit around the TPS54060, are there any suggestions you can provide for temperature compensation / trying to keep the output regulation < 1.25% at higher temperatures?
The datasheet spec for voltage reference tolerance across operating junction temperature (-40 to +150C) is +/- 16 mV (2%). At 25C, it is +/- 8 mV (1%). Can it be compensated to be 1.25% at least for 70C?
I read some notes in the datasheet about choosing appropriate dielectrics for the capacitors to minimize the variation there, but any other tips would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jonathan
