fuel gauge for a single cell primary battery?

No reply, and I am still struggling with understanding how to monitor a single cell primary battery.

Maybe I will have more luck with another question:

For a basic knowledge to start with monitoring a single cell LiPo battery what are the pointer to documentation?

(or Easy Getting Started Guide). There is an overwhelming number of devices in TI portfolio, so need to have a basic understanding what to pick.

Would you point to a P/Ns of devices able to work as a single cell LiPo gauge or/and primary battery gauge and being a popular choice?

Still no luck.

After studying some document from your links I see that I just need a Coulomb Counter feature plus maybe some options, but as bqx00 devices refered in SLAUA367 - December 2005 no longer exist (or I am not able to find them) I need to find then another device, which is possible to be used that way or in that mode.

Can someone help me?
