tps63700 thermal pad changed?

Hi all.

We received TPS63700 from DigiKey. But the case of the IC is slightly different from earlier parts and from datasheet. DigiKey says that TI changed thermal pad of this IC and parts we received are correct. But I want to be sure.

Here are photos:

lower part - earlier version and upper one - received today. Is this part correct? Top side marking are the same - "NUB".

Can smb make me sure?

You can use the part. There is no difference in the functionality.

But IMHO it will be better to change the datasheet (or place notification on product web-page).

To prevent such question from other customers.
