BQ24232 charge level state

Regarding the BQ24232 lithium charging circuit and indication know what level of charge it has.

Is there a way (even crudely. low med full) of how fully discharged the cell is.

 

if there a better device to do this?

    The IC itself does not indicate the level of battery capacity. However, from the battery voltage you can tell roughly how fully it is charged or discharged.

    To accurately tell the level of charge/discharge, I recommend to use a gas gauge.
