LM5010AMH safety report

Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of a product safety test. We are using LM5010AMH as one of the DC/DC converters. The testing agency is asking for safety report for this part. I did a quick search on TI's website. Didn't find it. The only CSA certificate on TI's website doesn't cover this particular part. Can anybody help?

I am not aware of a safety report for the LM5010A. I will forward your E2E post to product engineers at TI to see if they can help.

Yes. UL or CSA 60950 report.

OK, I'll check but there is a strong chance we don't have one. It is pretty rare we do them for IC components, normally the whole system check will cover them.

Thanks Paul. We did a short circuit test to prove that nothing would blow up.
