bq26231EVM / EV2200 PC Software Compatability

Hi

I'm having trouble getting the bq26231EVM evaluation software to run on a Windows 7 64 bit PC. When I run the setup.exe I get the message about compatability with this version of windows. I've tried running it in various compatability modes, but no luck. Is there a newer version of this SW or a way around anybody knows of.

    Hi Julian,

    May I ask why you chose bq26231?  If you just need a basic coulomb counter (not a complete fuel gauge solution) then I would recommend using a bqJunior (bq27000/bq27200/bq27010/bq27210) and using the coulomb counting registers per the example in SLUA367.  It's got superior hardware, although the PC GUI software is also somewhat old.
