I am using the EV2300 and the BQ27510-G2.
I see that both lines SDA and SCL are kept down of the I2C communication and I have connected these lines with pull-up resistors so in the bqEVSW "communication error" is shown. Any idea why they are kept down? it is suppose that both lines should be up right?.

In my case, BQ27510-G2 was very unstable chip.
sometimes I wrote DFI file with EV2300. BQ27510-G2 was die...
BQ27510-G2 has 3 kinds Firmware version. If you set the project 1.23 , then you change another Firmware..
BQ27510-G2 is broken. replace...
Check the schmetic and your bqEasy process.
[Pull-up Power check(voltage), MCU and I2C with connected device check(pull-down?), Pull-up resister check(open?) ]

It's my program error...
Active EVSW...at that same time My MCU try to read BQ27510-G2.
caution. BQ27510-G2, Do not Send standard command twice in a second.

A collegue of me used the same set up before and it worked (the same bq27510-G2, EV2300 and bqEVSW) so the schematic is correct.
The thing is that when I open the bqEVSW even if I select 1.22 or 1.23 an screen is shown with the following error:
This error appears because both lines, SDA and SCL are kept down. I have replaced the BQ27510-G2 several times so it is not possible that it is broken. I want to make a golden image but first I need to get "communication ok". In SDA and SCL is connected the BQ27510 and EV2300 only.
Any another idea why SDA and SCL are not up?

If your software and schmetic correct, you should check the SDA SCL short test with Ground.
I mean using the multitester and beep test.
With your community line between your zero GND.
I already checked if there are any short circuit in the PCB and in both lines and I didn't find any short circuit.
Did you modify something in the I2C Pro screen? I have it per default
Could you tell me what voltage do you have in the lines SDA and SCL?

You don't think about the voltage level just focus for high and low
cause it operate at open drain. And your SDA and SCL were low.
it seems to HW or SW problem. Change the focus from SDA to Bat.
my fault case was 3rd PCB mistake delete the No. 4 line.
So fuel gauge never detedt the battery so i am not able to change any flash data.
Maybe you are also it slowly check again between your schmetic and reference schmetic.

My fuel gauge detects the battery and in the pin "REG25" there is 3V. So the fuel gauge is powered up.
To make sure that my EV2300 is working well, I would like to know what voltage you have in the I2C output of the EV2300 when it is not connected to the target.

There is no voltage output on SDA/SCL lines of the EV2300. You must use external pullups to hold these lines high.
The EV2400 does have built-in pullups on SDA/SCL, so it is best to disable any external pullups if you use that box.

I ask you one thing. What kind use the pull-up source? Battery? Regulator? or EV2300's VOUT?
I suspect soldering or chip's condition. I also try to change a lot of BQ27510-G2.
my Success rate was 10%....10 times try...1 success..
It was very difficult of me..specially Bottom PAD...
and R15 R16 are OK? and TLV70033DDCT work?
I use battery source so..my SDA and SCL voltage level are 3.7V.
confirm the your MCU's I2C pin are set

I already found the issue. The 10Kohm pull-up resistors of the SDA and SCL lines
were broken. The strange is how these resistors got broken.
