We incorporated the reference design for the PMP6577 Power Module into a design using a Xilinx Kintex-7 (as used on the Xilinx KC724 MGT Characterization Board ) - see:

Though all of the TPS40400s come up as expected, I imagine that these parts were programmed on the PMP6577 using the Fusion Digital Power Designer software:
