bq27531 EVSW using the EV230 (HPA002)

  • Sluc378e (bqconfig): Installed
  • Sluc424f (GageStudio): Installed
  • Sluc453 (bq27531-G1_v02_senc): Not an exe. Where should this file reside.
  • Sluc455 (TI bq Evaluation Software 00.09.91) Installed
  • USB driver that is loaded when the EV2300 (HPA002) is connected; TI TUSB3210/2136 application firmware loader.

 

  1. Able to connect to the following apps without errors being reported:
  1. Bqconfig
  2. GageStudio
  • When attempt to connect to bq evaluation software the following error is reported:
  1. Detected device is not compatible with this application.
  2. Note: Can click the OK button to continue and the app opens. A communication error is reported but the refresh button clears the error and the app is connected.
  • Where do we find on the ti.com web site the EV2300 (HPA002) usb drivers?
  1. User guide calls out TIUSBWin2K-XP-1 and TIUSBWin2K-XP-2. Our machines are WIN7.
  • Despite problems described; able to start logging.
  1. After the battery is fully charged, stop the logging and attempt to retrieve the data the log file has a “LOCK” symbol attached to it. The data file is not visible using the Windows explorer tool.
  2. Also noted when starting a log/naming; the status bar displays “No Acknowledge_T2H_NACK”. What does this message mean?
