For a WSN application I need a DC/DC converter with 2.1V fixed output and bypass mode. Sadly, the only available DC/DC converter of these characteristics is the TPS62730 that supports a maximum output current of 100mA.
I have current peaks of around 175mA during about 10ms and I need the output voltage not to turn down. I thought of using a big capacitor on the DC/DC output to maintain the output voltage during these current peaks, what do you think?
Another idea I had was using two TPS62730 in parallel, but i'm not sure about the consequences.
Thank you very much in advance.
