I am using PSPICE in Cadence Allegro 16.6. I downloaded the PSPICE model for the TPS2490 and attempted to run the Latched transient design included with the download. I did not modify the design in any way. The simulation fails and reports the following:

ERROR -- Missing Value or expression for parameter

ERROR (ORPSIM-16505) : Missing value

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

My guess would be that you are not doing anything wrong. There is an issue with Cadence 16.6 that prevents encrypted files from being read correctly. Cadence suggests that you download the latest hotfix and install the updates to correct the problem.

You can also try the attached .lib file (replace the existing .lib file with this one). It has worked previously when this issue occurred.
