I am new to battery management ,using INA201 current monitor and with Coulomb counting Algorithm we need to develop with Current shunt monitor which gives current in terms of voltage , which is in proportional with the flow of current passing through Sense Resistor.
we are facing an issue in the discharging cycle. While battery discharging, current drawing is constant, based on the load.
if we connect 0.5C charge present in battery instead of Fully charged battery, then Coulomb counting algorithm is going to fail to estimate the SOC in battery.
In the above scenario, how can we estimate the charge present in battery.
