Dual outputs based on slua288

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61170

Hi,

I want to build a +15V and -15V from the TPS61170 (already used in the design). The application note slua288 based on the UCC3803D is interesting for that.

I just don't understand the RC placed in parallel with the output diode of the application (please see the attached file). At first, I thought it was a snubber, but not really! A snubber would between the SW node and the GND, right?

Any idea? It may be related to the (seems to be old) UCC3803D design itself.

Best Regards,

Denis
