my project is to design bms so for that I need to find soc accurately.so I have chosen bq34z110 as my cell chemistry is lead acid.my doubt is inorder to use this ic do we need EVM or can we use without it.please help me to get through this

Avinash,
The gauge will run an FCC simulation after battery has been attached and it will estimate the capacities. The accuracy of the simulation will depend on how well the battery discharge profile fits the OCV table. One issue with PbA cells is that they rest to a high voltage after the discharge has completed. This could cause the gauge to overestimate the Remaining Capacity, but the accuracy would be restored after the pack has been charged.

Avinash,
Some community members have used the Arduino tool to communicate with the device. There are some posts on this subject on the e2e forum.
