LED driver ref design for street light

Hello team,

I am looking for some kind of reference design for street light application from TI having following specs:

--> Input = Universal AC, Output = 21V dc, No. of LEDs = 4 strings of 6 LEDs each (total 24), Current through each string needs to be 350mA.

Kindly let me know if any chip is available from TI which can meet the specs.

Attached is a zip file with test results, the BOM, transformer specification and a board layout. Note that the board layout gerber files are for PMP2698. A few modifications need to be made to the PMP2698 board to turn it into the PMP4715.

HI Jeff,

please can you send the schematic for the PMP2698 or let me know the modification. Is the schematic for PMP4715 and PMP2698 the same.

The PMP4715 schematic has a note that summarizes the differences: "Ref. Des. > 99 were added on the board". But, to confirm, I have attached the PMP2698 board schematic.

Hi,

The transformer specifications pdf, mentions the turns ratio.

Please let me know the no. of turns & the wire guage.

The turns ratio is listed on the previously attached specification. I do not know the wire gauge but will try to find out. It might be quicker if you contact GCI directly, mentioning the part number.

@ Jeff: We tried to contact GCI tech but failed in getting so.Kindly mention no of turns so that transformers samples can be manufactured instantly.

I have attached a screen shot of the pdf file that shows the turns ratio, underlined in red, in case your version of pdf does not have compatible fonts.

Sir,

I already have that pdf.I again repeat my need for no of turns & not turns ratio which is already obtained.

No of turns for any winding if obtained transformer can be constructed

Unfnortunately, we do not design the transformer to that level in-house. We provide the specifications to a transformer design company and they select the materials and design the transformer to meet those specifications.

hi,Ti .are you ready with pmp for 230 vac,like pmp3155?I have to find about power 18-20W led driver for universal or 230 vac input.

Dear Jeff F,

We are designing street light. We are facing few issues like listed below.

We are getting AC voltage up to 360V AC. In some times we are getting constant 280V AC.

So, for this reason what changes should we do in your schematic? How to design LED street light with this input voltage.

We require max 15W o/p at 750mA current.
