TPS62130 - Webench sim for Vin < UVLO

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62130

Hi,

I'm new to Webench. I plan to test my 12V to 5V design with a TPS62130. I want to simulate the Vin from 12V all the way down to UVLO (2.8V), and see how the Vout behaves.

  • Which voltage source should I choose?
  • How to setup the simulation?

If you know the answer to this questions, then I probably won't need this simulation:

Is the Vout still regulated at 5V if 5> Vin >2.8V?

Thanks,

  • Welcome to the forums.  In the future, please begin your post title with the part number of interest.  As well, we have a Webench forum that can answer Webench related inquiries.

As a buck converter, TPS62130 does not boost Vin to a higher Vout.  Do you need this for your application?

  • Thanks, I will be more precise on my future posts.

I think you just answered my question - this is a buck switching converter. It's not a requirement, we just want to make sure our power sequencing is properly done in this DLP application. The DLP3000 requires specific power up/down sequence.

Thank you for the fast response. This is very convenient
