Hello team,
LM5017 ISO EVAL uses 2kohm (R10) of mimimum load on the board (on isolated output rail).
Is there a method to calculate the optimum value of this resistor?

Any inputs on this query?
or is it by trial and error method?

Hello Mahendra,
To reduce the leakage inductance effects on the secondary output, especially at light load/no load conditions, pre-load resistors are used. The larger the pre-load (smaller resistance), the better the voltage regulation at light loads, although this means a trade off of more power losses.
There is no specific practical formulae for this pre-load calculation.
