Problem of output ripple and noise of LM117

Hi,

I am using LM117 regulator with below mentioned input/output details

1] Input - 5V

2] Output- 1.25V

3] Input ripple+switching noise = 20mV

4] Output ripple+switching noise = 45mV

5] Input capacitor= 0.1uF Ceramic X7R

6] Bypass capacitor= 22uF Al Electrolytic

7] Output Capacitor= 100uF al Electrolytic

Please suggest any modification in circuit to reduce ripple and switching noise at output terminal below 10mV

Also suggest PCB layout guidelines for the same
