bq78350 - CEDV coefficients for room temp only

CEDV coefficients calculation needs data from discharge at low, room and high temperature.

Our prototype is ready.  We don't have access at a temperature chamber right now but still want to test the gas gauge.

What tweaks can we do to have valid data to put in the registers? What limitation should we expect?

Regards,

Frederic

  • I would appreciate an advice on this one...

    Thanks

  • The only known way to get good CEDV coefficients is with the calculation tool.  If you don't have temperature log data you might feed it the same data for high and low temperature.  I expect you will need to give the tool separately named files and I don't know the effect but it should process the data.  The CEDV value would not adjust correctly for temperature.
