Bq24295 boost mode not working

Hi,

I am using bq24295 in a charger application. I am using the reference circuit given in datasheet.When i power on the board,battery charging mode gets activated,but when on battery,boost mode does not work.Can you suggest me what steps should i take?

1.i have tried to set the registers but yet not able to read registers.

2. ce,qon and en_hiz checked,status is ok

Hi,

The first thing to understand is why you cannot communicate with the device. Can you please provide your circuit schematic? What are you using to communicate with the device?

Please try using a known good solution such at the TI provided software (http://www.ti.com/product/BQ24295/toolssoftware) with the USB-to-GPIO adapter (http://www.ti.com/tool/USB-TO-GPIO) used to communicate with standard EVM.
