Hi,
We are currently using a single-cell 45 mAh battery and are looking for a suitable fuel gauge. The fuel gauge ICs I found from TI has a minimum 100 mAh capacity. I also found this post where it is suggested that a bq27621-G1 can be used by multiplying the capacity setting with 10 and then divide subsequent measures by 10.
While this would work fine for the fuel gauge functionality, I was intrigued by the integrated PCM that the bq27742-G1 features. To minimize our BOM this would be a nice feature, but I did not find any information regarding low capacity batteries.
Is it so that the bq27742-G1 does not support batteries with a capacity less than 100 mAh and that no IC that uses the Impedance Track algorithm supports the type of scaling that bq27621-G1 supports?
