3Watt Solar lantern

Thanks a lot for the 3Watt solar lantern Gerber and BOM.

Hi,

I have small doubt  in the PM3579 design. 

I want to know where is the battery terminal to connect the battery for charging.

And Also what battery can we use , is it Lead Acid battery or Li-ion Battery.

The circuit does not appear to perform battery charging but does monitor the voltage levels of the battery so a separate charger circuit is necessary.  The output power level requires either a multi-cell Li Ion or multi-cell, probably 12V, lead acid battery.

Hi, 

The above schematic ( PMP3579 circuit) , title says Solar Charger and 3 LED Driver, If it is Solar Charger ,then  J1 terminal which says Solar Panel,means J1 is connected to the Solar Panel output, the voltage from the Solar Panel should charge a Battery, but i cant find  the terminals to connect the battery. And also please tell the function of pins of J2 Terminal. If you explain above these doubts, it would be great help so that i can get into the manufacturing of Lattern.

We want to manufacture the 3W Solar lantern based on the controller MSP430 from an input 4v to 8v dc with a output 6v.  Please Let us know if you could send us the schematic and Gerber file.
