Help, please. Is it possible to replace on BQ24296 BQ24196? What are the main differences between them?

    Andrey,

    The bq24296 and bq24196 are pin to pin and software compatible.  There are a number of differences, is there something in particular you are concerned about in your applications? 

    The bq24196 has a higher input voltage range (3.9V-17V) vs the bq24296 (3.9V-6.2V).  The bq24196 maximum charge current is 2.5A and the bq24296 is 3A max. 

    The bq23296 also has different, OTG power-up delay time, boost mode OCP control,  recharge after termination logic, and safety timer defaults.
