Pull-Up Resistors for SIN, SCLK, LAT and SOUT of TLC59281?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPIC6C596, TLC59281, TLC59282

We used to cascade 8 TPIC6C596 ICs together, which are connected to FPGA with SPI.
They are all working well without any Pull-Up resistor for SER-IN, SRCK, RCK or SER-OUT.

Now we design another new PCB board, which has 2 TPIC596 ICs and 2 TLC59281 ICs.
We like to cascade them together with SPI control.

In TLC59281 data sheet, no Pull-Up resistors are mentioned.
However, in Page 3 of User's Guide of  Using the TLC59282, 16-Channel LED Driver (SLVU672):
Pull-Up resistors for SIN,SCLK, LAT and BLANK are shown on circuit diagram.

Do we really need those Pull-Up resistors?
In case of cascaded TLC59281 ICs, do we also need the Pull-UP resistor for SOUT?
