Changing from default chemistry in BQ3055

I'm using the BQ3055 in a 3000mAHr 4S LiFePO4 pack. As far as I can tell the only impact of using the default chem ID of 0x0100 is that the SOC at reset is not accurate, is this the case?

I would still like to remedy this, how can I update the chem ID to something more suitable? (providing I know what ID to use, 404 for example).

I can import ChemID 404 into the bq3055 senc file for you in the next couple of days.

I replaced the default ChemID with ChemID 404.

Thanks Tom, I'll give it a go. Can you confirm what other effects (besides the reset SOC) changing the chemid will have?

The ChemID is only used when the cells are attached for the first time or the device gets reset. You should not encounter any side effects.
