BQ77PL900 eval software drivers only good for winxp

Looks like the drivers are only good for winxp. I'm on win7 and was unable to get these working. I tried changing the .exe files to run under winxp compatibility mode, but no luck. Any know if these drivers can work on win7 somehow?

The bq77PL900 evaluation software requires the EV2300 interface.

For 32 bit systems drivers are available at http://www.ti.com/tool/ev2300 or specifically http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slec003

For 64 bit systems drivers are available at http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/battery_management/m/videos__files/458983

The bq77PL900 Evaluation Software runs under windows 7, in some cases it may be necessary to select the windows 7 theme as "Classic Windows" to avoid black text boxes.

Some users have reported issues with the software from the decimal separator. In some cases it may be helpful to set the computer region to US, english or other similar region while running the software.
