Question about bq51020 & bq51021

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51021, BQ51020

Please let me know about bq51020 & bq51021 (see below).

・bq51020

Does bq51020 have the way to confirm the power loss and the other status?

・bq51021

I think the way to confirm the packet ID from the transmitter sees a register"0xF1~0xF4", is it correct?

And, is everything the packet ID for a register"0xF1~0xF4"?

Best regards,

Satoshi

  • Satoshi,

I am not sure I understand the question.  Are you asking how the bq51020 indicates to its controller that wireless power is terminated?  Or, are you asking how the bq51020 indicates to the Transmitter that it can terminate power transfer?

The bq51021 can send information from it's registers to the transmitter.  Since a Qi receiver solution must work with all Qi transmitters the response to any information sent cannot be guaranteed.  If the TX is a custom solution that can interpret the information sent in the packets 0xF1 through 0xF4.

Please see the bq51021 datasheet sections 8.3.5 and 8.3.6 for more information.

    Regards,

    Dick
