I am developing a custom pcb with the bq34z200 IC as the gas gauging method for our main battery bank. To allow for us to tweak the parameters in the IC / read out the variables it is connected to a microcontroller over I2C. I would like to know if it is possible to update the setup flash (ie design capacity, cell chemistry) etc using this I2C link in our own custom software. If it is possible (which i think is is) i'm not sure how to go about it, as the documentation on the IC is very confusing about how you access it via I2C commands (or maybe i'm just confused)..
Any hints as to how to best go about this would be awesome :)
