Hi,

I am current working through the following document issued by TI

How have they come up with the window area, breadth etc? Step 6

    The window area, breadth, height and MLT(mean length turn) are all specified on the data sheet for the coilformer.

    For example, I attached a page from the data sheet for the ETD34.

    Window area is specified as 123mm2

    The other parameters need to be calculated from the drawing for the bobbin geometry.
