What is the necessary amount of on-board capacitance needed for the Vref and VTT rails out of the TPS51206DSQR. Customer is supporting two DDR3 DIMM sockets with either UDIMMs or RDIMMs.

Hi Gary,

For stability the minimum capacitance is 10 µF on VTT and 0.22 µF on VTTREF. These should be ceramic.

This is listed in the datasheet a few times so I'm wondering if they are looking for something else?

The TPS51206's VTT rail can stable with only 1pcs 10uF ceramic output cap (size 0603).
For VTTREF 0.22uF ceramic bypass cap (size 0402).BR,Arm
