TPS62160 PFM entry hysteresis?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62125

Hello

My customer has Questions.

Please tell me answer if possible.

1.PWM and PSM is switched at 1/2 the ripple current.
Whether there is hysteresis in the threshold?
→Customer want use MAX Current=200mA.So customer want to know the threshold.

2.How are you measuring the DataSheet of the current waveform.
→Customer wants to compare the waveform the same conditions.

  • Thanks for beginning your post with the part number. In the future, kindly add some more words about your specific question.

No, there is no hysteresis. But, per the D/S, the control mode is the same in PFM and PWM, so there is no issue. The TPS62125 supports 300 mA Iout and may be a better fit.

We use a current probe around a wire in series with the inductor to measure inductor current. This is the normal way to measure it.
