In our application we are seeking to use the Gas Gauge IC to let us know various information related to a 18Ahr lead acid battery . We have the bq34z1xxEVM to conduct preliminary tests and validate the IC, but I found confusing the component datasheet and would like to take some questions.
It is possible, using a uC host, program the IC without using TI softwares? Still, is there any tutorial / app note or else a topic in this forum to tell us which steps to follow in order to use the CI?
