Max input current of Vin pin will depend on the configuration you choose (buck, boost, etc.) ; based on which you can accordingly select the external driver and components . The Design Requirements section in the datasheet can help you with this.

I am having issues with the design in WeBench, i have the setup as per the design. I am only getting 39V output, and when i put a load on the voltage reduces. Any ideas?

I am going to run it at 333KHz switching frequency, I have managed to get a 50V output but have a lot of oscillation on the gate of the MOSFET

What i have managed to reduce the noise a little with a series gate resistor, however at around 12W the output is no longer regulated at 50V its is around 38V at 18V input voltage

Also there is some waveform jittering present at higher loads.
