How to record a discharge cycle with BqStudio?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

In "Simple Guide to CEDV Data Collection for Gauging Parameter Calculator (GPC)" it is written in section 2.2:

" An easy recording method utilizes TI's bqStudio software utility called GPC Packager that reads data
directly from a TI fuel-gauge."

GPC packager, it asks for log files to build a package.  I can't find any way to record a discharge cycle in that pane.

I can display a a data graph with BqStudio but I can't find a way to save the recording anywhere.

What's the trick?

Thanks

  • This could use some clarification, the GPC packager will collect the log files.
Log files can be created started the register view. If you select the menu "Window | Preferenced", in the All Global Settings section select the "Show Advanced Views" button and OK. This will allow selection of each register for logging. Clicking on the "Log" heading at the top of each column will allow turn off of the column. The desired V, I, T registers can be added back individually.
The log is started with the "Start Log" button at the top of the view. An elapsed time and some other columns are added to the log. When complete, the log is stopped by the button which has changed to "Stop Log".
Thanks for the inquiry, we will look for further clarification.
