I wish to connect a battery that will be operating between 8V and 36V to a system. The current could be upwards of 18 amps. I was going to use the TPS2400 but were concerned with its' ability to drive the gate of a low RDS NMOS fet. The gate capacitance on these type of fets can be high. The Ciss is one case is 10700 pF, Coss is 821pF and Crss is 272pF. To me this seems to indicate a slow turn on and off. Am I looking at the right device for this application?
